What happened? When you did it!

well, it didn't reboot 😆 i had to go into safe mode and fix my typo via virtual console access. no data volumes were harmed.

Running this before reboot might help

mount -fav

What does the -fav do? I also do a test mount -a before rebooting now. Been burnt too many times
