Reasons why its often a nice experience to shop at a chain or franchise.

They have so much customers coming in and out unless the barista actually really has a crush on you theres no need for fake flirting bc they know ppl go there for the brand/product and not the employee. Theres no single/ing out ppl that might not fit their profile of customers so you wont get treated diff if you’re not a model or cool person.

Bc they are just too busy, other places have employees that have mostly too much time to foster gossip unless the employee is so smart to fill their downtime with things that benefit them instead of wasting their throat chakras or typing thumbs.

Keep the bitchness to inter-employee gossip not customers.

Its pretty basic again.

Alright i digress, but thats one of the reasons not to always support small businesses bc they choose their fav and most of the time when its not about them it gets pretty.. why did i waste my money on favouritism.

Plus in the particular case of starbucks they know the actual real size of a hot beverage of whomevers choice. Not 3 drops of water in a shot glass.

The prices/ sizes for coffee or whatever your choice is have gotten ridiculous.

If i want an espresso id order one.
