Did Ocean just attempt to disrupt Runes from getting into block 840000?

This is just my opinion, but it looks like someone pointed A LOT of hash towards Oceans pool right before the halving. It was about double its usual hash rate. I think this was an attempt to block the new sh$tcoin protocol Runes from getting into their planned launch.
