These camo experts are rarely seen, and spend hours upon hours hiding out on tree perches waiting to snatch any insects that fly by with their large beaks.

They're nocturnal birds, known to squawk at the moon with sorrowful and eerie cries, making them the subject of many sad, spooky folklore.

Found throughout Central and South America.
