I wasted a few hundred bucks on shitcoins when I first found Bitcoin. Those dollars would have been a lot of sats today, which sucks.

But I had already immersed myself in Bitcoin content/media/culture, so my dabbling in “crypto” was brief, and I learned quickly before I lost more.

Without a doubt, Nostr is protecting Bitcoin’s newcomers today.

Let the masses come. It’s very good that this protocol was created by bitcoiners, and was first populated, primarily, by bitcoiners. Onward 🫡

Yep this was me to start with, assuming that Bitcoin was the first one and therefore, subsequent cryptocurrencies would be improvements. Maxis take a lot of criticism but they saved this pleb! 4 years later and now I’m a maxi that tries to help other newcomers 😊
