So then bolt12 implementation inside the Phoenix wallet is pointless ?

Well. Not *pointless*

But it will likely but work equally on all devices/setups, if relying on phone wakeup. See Graphene.

I'd prefer to just have an always-on Raspi with phoenixd running, and be on the safe side

*not work equally (damn autocorrect)

And if you you run also lnbits, you can even connect your phoenixd to Zeus. Here's a package

Don't have Phoenixd, but what i would like is a thin PWA client for mobile that interacts with Phoenixd using nostr.

nostr:npub14tq8m9ggnnn2muytj9tdg0q6f26ef3snpd7ukyhvrxgq33vpnghs8shy62 any plans to implement phoenixd into raspiblitz ? 👀

Node in the phone is not a good idea imo, but there is also many people that want to self custody LN but don't want a dedicate home server for that, so it's not useless, just not optimal. bolt12 is always usefull phone or desktop.
