I don't understand how when sometimes I make steak, it melts in my mouth, and other times it's like chewing leather.

I blame the steak

a poor work man blames his meat

πŸ˜‚ true.

but also you're right

Is it the steak or is it me? πŸ€”πŸ₯„

If it's good, it's you

If it's bad, it's the steak

Same cuts?

Doesn’t it depend on the spot? Hahaha

There is a ton of variation in steaks even off of the same primal sometimes. A bangin steak is to be cherished…

I've got a bangin steak right now and I'm thanking God for it.

I have no idea either lol

Same cuts?

Fucking cows.

how long are you letting it sit at room temp?

Do you let the steak sit out before you cook it?

You'll be glad to know I made a steak straight out of the fridge today and it's melting like cotton candy.

Welp

Varies with cut and aging.

So when you buy your steak you want that meat red red in color. Dont get the purple red one but the deep red one. These tend to melt in your mouth. The not so red and dull is mainly grain feed and make it chewie.
