I would like to create meatups locally IRL, I think nothing beats face to face conversations. Starting with small groups, growing bigger and bigger… One concern though would be safety, especially after doing a few of these and getting a “reputation”. Any suggestions there?

Meetups are awesome, but difficult to attend or organise privately. Being extremely guarded about what info you share is about the best you can do if you wish to attend.
