They’re really not clued up on anything about what to do to try raise funds, use jaguar sighting for tourism etc. basically been doing stuff to help them and put water out as they have drought issues and realised now has places to guarantee people seeing them but doesn’t know how to monetise to get funds to expand efforts. I know you are involved in lion stuff. Is this something you might be interested in trying to help with? Was just random thought

Now this is why I love reading notes here on #Nostr something real is happening that simply doesn't happen on the dead bird 🐦 app. I'd be interested to learn more about this Jaguar 🐆 sightings and that would draw my interest in the country as a conservation effort and tourism.
Genuine connections. It was actually my wife that spoke to the guy, I wasn’t there. There’s resources, energy and genuine desire for people to help with things in this world. There’s also different skill sets and knowledge dispersed everywhere. The internet and the connections it enables should be harnessed for more than meaningless likes and narcissistic photos! That’s nostr!!
This would be something I would be interested in exploring further.

I want the sighting at the watering hole to trigger a video nostr post upload automatically. As close to me getting a live view as possible. It hits our feed as a short clip and we can all zap it to help fund the research and care given through the program. It’s a great idea but would need onboarding to btc as well. Setting something like that up though could be something that could be used as a template for other conservation projects. I did not come across a single guatemalteco that new about bitcoin. Could be a little challenging
