Question—why was Primal able to allow zaps but not Damus?

Because Will has a big mouth.
When in primal wallet you have a chance to buy some sats through Apple account. I think they managed to trick Apple that sats are some primal tokens you can buy with a 30% Apple fee. Something like vbucks or whatever fortnight is using.
