Nice! Are you a tiler by trade? Laid my first tile this week. It’s messy but I was enjoying for the most part. Definitely would rather take the time / energy to tile my shower stalls than put those nasty fiberglass inserts in 👎

Not by trade, I build the entire house. Literally do everything from plumbing and electrical to solar to you name it.
Definitely has a more custom look to it than the inserts. And it’s not too difficult. You just need to take your time and measure. You need to understand what type of thin sets adhere to what type of substrate (modified versus unmodified, thin set)
