That's what I did in Mexico recently when internet connection was spotty, the place only took cash, etc. But, I did print out a bunch of Azte.co vouchers for ~$1-$5 to hand out as tips everywhere. Made some interesting conversations. I usually also slipped the "Buy bitcoin" stamped dollar bill just in case they couldn't figure it out.
