Someone recently asked how I can handle the noise of S9s running in my living spaces.

Now that I am running them again I have a more definitive answer.

The one in my living room currently runs at 500W. That provides good baseline heat for me and is (felt) as loud as a desktop PC.

The second one is running at 750W and is a bit louder, but I am running it in my home office room with a certain ground noise level and I barely notice it there as well.

I might have more than natural resistance to fan noises though because it still remember what "LAN party" means 😅
