There is one worrying trend in the world, men don’t treat their words as a contract any longer. This is problematic, and I mainly observe it from americas. If your word worth nothing, you are not a man of your word, or a man! Keep word or die, that’s the core of society and path to prosperity!

My Dad taught me if I’m anything in life, it’s to be a man of my word. His father thought the same. I will pass that down to my children as well. I think it may just come down to family values or a strong father figure.

I agree 100%, if you can’t stand up and live by the words you speak, you can’t be trusted and shouldn’t be trusted. Because if I don’t act on what I say then I’d just be a deceptive person, that is a very ugly thing to be.
