My guess is red bulbs let the brain get its circadian rhythm going. The candles interest me. Air quality issue maybe?
Also good for mitochondria. We evolved on a planet around a red giant.
Eye and sleep health can confirm. Muten Édouard at the drawing school used to warn not to put the lamp above the head but about the work-table; so risk of getting bald if otherwise.
I have lots of midgets running around that would knock them over and set the house on fire.
