What if taxes were efficiently spent on bettering society?
What if we remove for a half year taxes to see what is like when you have your money and spend it how you like it
It would defnitly be a project to proof which public spendings are very necessary, and which might also could be lowered or cleaned.
I would at least leave the spendings in schools and some spendings for transitioning. May there are very well established systems payed by the state, which only could be copied in a private sector.
But I am sure no matter if one calls it taxes, state, community or whatever. There are very good reasons to invest in some systems as a society. And when rich people pay a low amount on these spendings, then it is nothing else but gifting money to them. Since they profit the most from public spendings in infrastructure and should also be billed accordingly.
I live in a democracy. So it is my duty to speak up, if the money of the state should be spent differently. Or if in some specific point more transparency is needed. Or better regulations.
But for sure in every state there is room for improvement.
The state will spend it on filth 😎
