Interesting. I kinda thought the thyroid was the one that influenced a bunch of other organs. I guess thats just what i've heard.

You're not wrong, the thyroid does influence many other aspects of physiology throughout the body. But within the hormone system itself, there's definitely a pattern of influence that I rely on in practice. Dr. Henry Harrower is one of the pioneering doctors in functional endocrinology that mapped out some of these relationships. This is his chart. I highlighted the liver, adrenal, and pancreas relationships for you that I mentioned.

As a father to a Type 1 Diabetic (14 years old, diagnosed almost 2 years ago), the human body is a million times more amazing than l could have ever imagined. We've found what works (low carb and regular exercise) but to consider all of the other relationships and how hormones affect each other is mind blowing!
