Possibly Nostr.how for info,
And link to a signer like Amber for Android
Or Browser Extensions like albyhub or Nos2x
Pointing to a particular client might bite ya.

i decided to use https://nstart.me thoughts?
More of a wizard than nostr.how so, probably more useful for the less inquisitive. But wizards do give the more initiated the feeling of being led down the primrose path. But since you are targeting complete noobs, this might be the best way to go.
I followed the wizard an it has a few issues imo.
It derives the keys for you.
It mandates an email.
It only suggests 5 clients at the end none of which are the most popular.
I truly think starting with a key manager (amber or Nos2X) would keep the key creation more secure and as the find more clients beyond Satoshi Settlers, they will be able to take their secure keys with them.
what do you think about nostr:nprofile1qyx8wumn8ghj7cnjvghxjmcpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqqgzn9kpsmllqnsf7wh5tz3wgy4cclsftqqplv8tpayrhwgw8llunevgnmdf3
I am REALLY not trying to obstinate but Primal's app derives your keys for you as well. The web browser version can definitely be a good jump off if they make their keys external to the PWA.
This is obviously your project (which I love using by the way) I would just hope that people who find your client first could generate and manage their keys in the best way they can.
