Unfortunately this was a scam.

The worst kind, taking advantage of good people's humanity.

People who make scams like this, pretending to be helping a sick child or animal shelter etc.

These are bad people who deserve no mercy.

I don't give a shit about romance scammers or Nigeria prince with a bunch of gold etc.

Only stupid greedy/horny people fall for those scams.

But sick kids, man it's evil to use a sick kids picture and story like this to scam people.

Only good people gave them money, that's what upsets me the most.

And those people who donated, if it wasn't for this scam they could have donated to someone that actually needs it etc.

And when. They find out it was a scam it makes them trust less and therefore less likely to donate to the real thing in future.
