"common sense" is often horribly wrong. The common sense argument was used to justify racism, slavery, subjugation of women, etc etc etc.
@ArbiterMaul Funny how for thousands of years in every corner of the globe 14 to 18 year olds normally married 18 to 25 year olds and everybody celebrated the happy new family.
The only people ever to truly understand how abusive this is are the Americans of the last 20 years.
