not really, nostr is the protocol... is like people trying to sell bitcoin to normies without talking about self custody, scarcity, money the state cannot control, etc. stuff

And it has and is a hard sell.

Gmail did not get mass adoption by talking about SMTP or other technical stuff. It gave the email on the go (away from your home/work desktop).

If Nostr wants to reach regular people it needs to speak their language. They don’t want to hear about protocols etc. They just want to talk to other people and use something for it that works.

If they are curious they will dig deeper but most are not. They don’t investigate how FB, Snap, IG or any other app really works.

My point was that I did not find a single article I could point to that would say try it, it’s fun, it works and it’s better for you than the alternatives. Here’s how you get started in no time, easy-peasy.
