Really, cause in reality..I did hours of research with many different sources before reaching out on telegram/twitter.. involving IP sniffers, reformatting the sd card & reloading, etc..
EVERY tutorial simply shows an IP listed as the next step..so then I can use that IP to access on my network through browser.
There was also a previous post on Reddit before this one..that had more details..I appreciate those who did try to help..but they did not offer any solution.. basically advised me to reformat & try again..which I did multiple times.
If the reddit mod took 1/2 the time he devoted to criticism & trolling..I'd likely be running a node right now..
Not to mention his response was a YEAR after the post.
I repeat..what part is funny?
&..how does any of this help adoption?
Bitcoin has a UX & technical user adoption problem..how are we as a community going to bridge that gap to mainstream adoption if the maintainers can't place their ego aside & actually help.
but did you ever just bother to google: "how to find my ip on linux"
it's literally one single command. I cannot believe you did "hours of research" without seeing that info.
it's also funny you blurred your reddit username but not the other, completely negating the effort. since that post can still be found.
