Went to buy a classic DnD module I heard was fun.

Sadly Wizards of the Coast, a company that is running the hobby into the ground, owns the rights to these older adventures.

Many people are turning to these classic adventures because they are fed up with Wizards of the Coast trying to inject woke nonsense (and frankly flat and lifeless content) into newer modules.

These classic adventures laid the groundwork for the hobby and are beloved by the greatest part of DnD players.

Just read this caveat that Wizards of the Coast has put on this digital product:

#DnD

#OSR

#TTRPG

#WotC

Very lame and ghey

Sad part is they're all for free on internet archive lol XD

Why pay and be pontificated to?

Internet archieve doesn't pontificate and is free.

I think woke and lifeless content are related.

In both cases the "artist" refuses to play into traditional tropes. If you make Harry Potter a faggot but you're still telling Campbell's hero's journey it's going to come across as "based" and minimally "woke".

But the wokies are not content to change surface details of characters, they need to change their deepest motivations and convictions. When you do that to a heroic character, rarely do they remain a hero.

even throwing in the retarded "diversity is our strength".
