Thanks. And backports for apps, flatpak or just the stable repo? Just curious and I'm hoping to build one soon hopefully.
the debian setup script below shows what repos, with an option to install the backports kernel.. ..i use a couple flatpaks that aren't part of the install script, but i'm generally cool with native packages, even if they are older versions.. ..i don't need the latest/greatest.. ..stable is more my jam

Done it for 5 years at this point, so I'm way ahead of that curve.
Thinking about it with Windows 10 reaching end of support...
I used to run Linux for a few years, but need Windows for work programs. That's why I switched back. Couldn't afford to buy several PCs.
Need to check how to run Windows programs on Linux these days.
