Yeah. We boondock quite often, ourselves. Craziest place we ever did was a cow pasture near the Grand Canyon. Someone told us about it late one evening and we went there in the dark. Woke up to cows lowing and had to watch the cow piles when we stepped out of the camper. Overall, it was a fun adventure and the price was right. Have fun up there! Will be with you in spirit, but crowds that size put ants on me.
