Pop culture, never that great to be honest, has been on a near-vertical downtrend since 1965.
What happened during that time?
There were many factors, but I think the cultural decline can be accounted for mostly by the strong dominance of postwar Western media by Jewish oligarchs who viscerally disliked the old elite and its traditions -- and who launched the sexual revolution, the youth revolution, and other fake, non-organic movements in order to remake our society to their liking. They also were far more willing to pander to the lowest elements of society for profit than old elite had been.
