I’m a non-developer enthusiast most interested in the open source software and hardware that power bitcoin transactions. I build DIY hardware wallets like the seedsigner, and I like to discuss build methods, software for these devices and helping people make the switch from shady corporate HWs like the ledger. I think all of that is mostly out in the fairway. I’ll definitely check out communities because I’m still thinking Reddit-like about social media and hashtags irk me, subreddits make sense. TY!

I can't promise a base level of activity there, but at some point someone's gotta be the one to get it to that critical mass. I suspect using a community almost as a journal and soliciting comments is probably the best way to start things out, but obviously you're free to try what you like :-).

I’m trying to think a bit more like that and share condensed thoughts/media that can be quickly absorbed, in hopes a conversation starts. I was never keen on journaling, so I tend to only want to share something when I think others can make use of it, which I rarely think about my random thoughts. I’m trying, #nostr !!!

I was just poking around on Coracle and saw that there's some movement happening in Groups. Flotilla.social may be exactly the sort of Nostr client you're looking for for a smooth experience. Brand new approach, looks like a snazzy interface.
