I wrote an anti tariff post and all other taxes got caught in the crossfire.

Taxation is theft but some people seem to miss that tariffs are a class of taxes and therefore also theft.

Taxation isn't theft. How do you fund any programs fed, state, or local? You like roads? You like firefighters? I happened to like public school. Are you for privatizing everything as MAGA thinks the world should work?
They take my money without my consent to use it for things I do not want it used for. AKA robbery. There is no moral difference because you said the magic incantation "government" before you did it.
Remember that all I have to is not consent and peacefully sit in my living room not paying and armed men will kick in my door and take me to prison. That ups the criminal activity on their part to armed robbery, breaking and entering, and kidnapping.
All for the horrific crime on my part of not wanting my resources to be used to bomb civilians half way around the world in countries I'll never visit in my life.
Roads, schools, and firefighters all used to be private endeavors. I'm not imagining a way humans never lived.
I simply want the base way that humans interact to be informed consent rather than our current standard of a standing threat of violence at all times.
