Ark, Bitcoin L2 Payment solution definitely be the next thing. Bitcoiners believe it's gotta be stored in a non-custodial manner, though it turns into custodial one if you wanna use Ligitning? What an absolute nonsense! You can't even receive LN #BTC unless you got on-chain #BTC first. What if tx fee keeps increasing as F because of Ordinals and all that? You gotta be rich enough first to secure your storage to run full-node for receiving Lightning?WTF lol

I was very excited about Ark. After listening to their presentation I really doubt it’s a practically viable solution.

You need to do on-chain txs every 5 seconds. Just 1 Ark Service Provider would eat up ~4% of block space at 100 sat/vB by their own measurments.
