Inflation targets and inflation indexing aside, it is pointless to discuss.

As long as ANY inflation persists: The system fundamentally doesn't have the currency to meet its debt obligations, the system needs to lend currency into existence to pay for servicing the debt.

That is a vicious circle at an exponential rate, a pyramid scheme. The outcome is predictable from the very outset with certainty; rampant inflation and complete debasement as a result.

A system that has inflation is a non-zero-sum game, it has an external upkeep. In the end, everybody loses.

Imagine if people understood how debt-based money works and why what you say isn’t merely true, but inevitable.

I love this quote from Ford. He understood people and he knew people would lose their shit even back then if the grokked what was being imposed upon them. Add in the rot we have today, with Bitcoin as the solution, and now you’re a conspiracy theorist 😂

Yeah that quote is amazing. Telling too, considering 101 years went by since and those who understand the significance now are so few.

Since every dollar created is equivalent to a dollar of debt and since debt has to be paid back with interest, by definition there cannot be enough dollars to payback the debt plus interest. This means the entire value of everything is slowly transferred to the bankers, the people who issued the debt. They knew what they were doing when they created this system.

A money out of nothing (like most people think we have) would be much better than the system of theft we endure.

Yeah
