It’s been hard to find a reliable measure. I run Nostr Console and the counts are usually very different than what’s reported on Damus.

**Damus**

Following 162 / Followers 296

**Nostr Console**

Following 285 / Followers 295

Nostr Console also tells me that 140 of the people I follow are following me back. Something I’d love to see in Damus! #[4]

Could it be due to different relays being used? It is not clear to me that the list propagates equally to all the relays you are connected to.

I think so, and there was also some kind of syncing issue on Damus that may or may not still be happening.

What I have found is that in our console if you add the damus relay you have more contacts. In your case the opposite happens to you, it is curious.
