I feel like it’s very similar to the conversation happening around bitcoin and the fed. Sure the fed could decide to stop their currency debasement and go to a harder money. Back it by gold or bitcoin.. but why leave ability open at all. It seems the future really is a transparent system from the ground up. As opposed to having a system’s security be built on trust.
