Out of all the people I spoke to daily and considered friends on Twitter, only one reached out to see how I was doing and asked me about why I left.

Maybe that says something about me personally and the nature of my friendships, but I’m willing to be that’s the nature of most connections online.

We don’t have as many true friends as it may seem.
