Narcissists appear happy to call others narcissists, whilst not recognising their own narcissistic behaviours... Such is life, and life is not without its little ironies.

IMHE - One can be free from suffering, without being narcissistic because past suffering remains in the present as a necessary reminder that suffering is unnecessary. This is not perfectionism, as is found in narcissistic thinking, but realism based on hard shadow work and the process of recovery.
