Me personally agrees with the way you think🤣but in terms of “regular” people that don’t care about decentralisation and all that, nostr isn’t even on their radar right now, if a big company was to adopt nostr, like meta with threads or twitter itself, the protocol would get exponentially better much quicker imo and a lot of the “regular” people would be on here too!

In fact, people who are not interested in decentralisation and freedom, they are ok with been enslaved.

If a big company would join and make things grow quicker, this people would just join and start being slave dicks like they usually are..

Fast doesn’t necessarily means better.

We should focus on finding a way on how to build faster on our own.

I have been working of a project with a Private Banking Account Manager, he had contacts with many VC, and this people are just a bunch of assholes, who already have enough money to live 10 lives, and they still want to suck value out of this “normies”

Personally I would consider their arrival here as a big red flag 🚩!

I think your point of view is also valid, appreciate you chipping in for real.

I do think though that people that don’t mind being enslaved my big corps just don’t realise how bad it is, I’m pretty young still and still learning but a few years ago I was kind of like that, only after I found bitcoin and started to look into it properly did I start to realise how bad it really is. I think those people deserve that chance too!

Yeah, consider my words as a bitter consideration ...

I was just trying to point out that to be free, we do not actually need the entire world to be free, and if they don't realize they are not free, we of course must try to explain them, but living with expectations like that can slow you down. Maybe you will ride this road alone in your close surroundings, but in fact we are a lot doing the same ...

Personally I think people realize they are enslaved, but they fear what can happen after.

For me fear shall not exists.. i understand "awa" (don't know it is the right word), but being blocked by fear, sorry, makes you as guilty as those who enslave you ...

what I want to express is that, I get that it would be good if a lot of people would understand and use nostr, but this shall not limit you, and me...

I say it also to myself, cause it's a struggle, but we need to trust in our guts!

and also there is an issue with the mass. They act as a single entity and that entity is pretty dumb!!
