Well, we did it!

Not only did I make it to midnight, but wifey and I danced all night, ringing in the new year with new friends and great music. (And unlike much the crowd who are doubtless still dancing now, we managed to do this without any “artificial enhancements” to keep us energized).

The new day (new year, too!) was just beginning as we got home — see “proof of morning” by way of the tree photo.
