minimum wages jobs aren't meant to be lived on. if you are an adult on minimum wage, you have some serious questions to ask yourself.

While I agree with this, I've asked myself those questions.
How do I use my minimum wage job to be able to afford education when I already can't pay my electric bill?
Maybe you have the answer... 🤷
Majority of the labour in the country relies on minimum wages.
Minimum wage is literally the minimum someone should earn to LIVE ON.
If it were the case, then there wouldn't be a minimum and you could earn a dollar an hour instead?
Hence, minimums...
says you. there shouldn't be a minimum wage at all. The govt shouldn't be setting the price of labor.
Yeah, we know how that turned out.
Let me pay you $5 an hour come work for me
you'll pay what the market demands for labor. And if I'm only able to get that minimum pay because I lack skills to demand more, I'll adjust my life as needed. The idea that everyone is entitled to live in his or her own place is ridiculous. My grandparents were living in a multigenerational household in the 1930s and 40s to ensure the ly could pay their bills and the kids could get a good education. They worked together. Everyone since has succeeded thanks to their sacrifice. They didn't demand govt set wages to do it.
I see plenty of families doing the same thing now, especially if they are immigrant families. I applaud them for it.
