The time is right to reunite the Catholic and Orthodox Church. This is how:

The Pope holds Primacy of Honor rather than universal jurisdiction, like King Arthur among the Knights of the Round Table. Orthodox Christians and Catholics both gain more effective collective action for Christendom. Catholics embrace greater autonomy for Eastern Rites, and vice versa.

Both interpretations of the Filioque are affirmed as illuminating the same mystery. In the Buddhist sense, all is divine, so the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son. In the Tolkienian sense, all things flow from Ilúvatar’s thought, so the Spirit proceeds from the Father alone. Both are true, depending on whether one emphasizes unity or distinction.

Future ecumenical councils include both Western and Eastern Church leaders, as in the first millennium.
