Btw that was a click baity note.

Doctors are good everywhere.

But in the US they are:

1) Afraid to act because they are so freaked out of being sued.

2) They are incentivized to hold on to you.

What ends up happening, they don’t take decisions, and keep you doing strange tests.

In Jordan, they want to get rid of you as fast as possible.

And in Kuwait/Egypt/Libya/Dubai/Bahrain/Qatar/Saudi Arabia they just prescribe you antibiotics and send you on your way.

Exactly. 😂

20 minutes and you well be out.

Malpractice risk leads to defensive medicine.

I took my daughter to urgent care. They took the money, and didn’t do anything. Told us to go to ER.

We skipped the ER because we were almost certain the same will happen there.

Today we had an appointment with an optometrist, the first thing they said is that they want to take pictures first because of her eye might be ripped out from the back, if so, she will need to go somewhere else.

You are looking at a jolly, laughing 7 years old… do you reaaaly think her eye is ripped out of its socket?

It’s very defensive, to an unrealistic extent.

The healthcare system has rapidly declined the last 25 years. I remember family doctors… I also watch old movies where it appears normal to see the doctor at the home…
