Where are uploads stored

Depends on the client, some of them use nostr.build

Oh. How come relays don’t store uploads? Seems like all uploads go to a third-party which is kinda centralized

there are proposals for that, but data storage overhead is the obvious concern; there will be some pay-to-upload services for sure
