on no, is not a mining node. Just a confirmation node.
What is a confirmation node?
If you want you can download the full blockchain and run a full node. Full nodes help the network by accepting transactions and blocks from other full nodes, validating those transactions and blocks, and then relaying them to further full nodes. Mining nodes create the blocks and then they sent them to the network of validating nodes, that propagate only valid blocks.
