No I don't think it's premature. BIP is just in infancy stage.

As more people will talk about it, the more it will get improved and more matured.

It is unreasonable to think that BIP will get buy ins from the majority of the bitcoiners without any pushback/resistance.

This is not Google or Amazon lol.

There will be chaos until plebs can digest the details and nuances but saying this is irrelevant is either delusional or malicious (or maybe both)
