USA did not bring down the British empire.
Seriously it's retarded how y'all try to take credit.
The reason for the American Revolution was not a rebellion over taxes on tea, it was against a totalitarian government in Britain which had claimed power over the colonies "in all cases whatsoever".
This is the very same usurpation of power that the United States government is making, but with more sleight of hand.

When did I or this article make that claim? Or maybe you should clarify what you think I'm saying here because it looks like you're talking past me without understanding my message.
If you pay attention to what I've said in the past, you'd find that I say the system we have now is the SAME one as the British Empire of that time, but evolved. I've also stated elsewhere that the United States had been infiltrated from the very beginning, prominently by Hamilton but also by bankers and others, that have worked to corrupt the American government and monetary systems. Nowhere did I ever claim that the USA "brought down" the British Empire.
To be fair, the article does have the line "Four words that sparked the revolution and brought down an empire." I think this refers only to the Americans defeating the British in the revolution; that's how the British Empire/government was brought down, in this instance. But, of course, the British continued to have dominion in India, Canada, Australia, Africa, and elsewhere, well into the 20th Century. Perhaps time and multiple independence movements, etc. can be said to have brought down the British Empire, in terms of ultimately ending it.
