China bans the use of bitcoin, making it impossible to bind bank accounts to online payment methods.

Bank account blocked. In China, your own bank deposits are limited to 5,000 yuan a day. Don't spend your own money at will. CCP limits spending money. Not even my own money.

😭 sounds like hell on earth. you might want to look into projects like Cashu and Fedimint which run on top of Bitcoin and Lightning, but provide huge benefits in terms of transaction privacy. cc #[3]

I know. But I can't use it. It is not possible to buy cryptocurrencies with bank deposits. Bank account is restricted 🚫.

if you set up a lightning wallet on your nostr profile, you could at least collect some sats via zaps. and the tech is moving quickly so there will likely be even better (fully private) ways to do p2p exchange in the near future.

There is no place to spend Bitcoin, and there is no cryptocurrency in circulation in China. no point.

China only uses WeChat and Alipay, I have been using WeChat and Alipay payment methods for 8 years. I have never touched banknotes, but use WeChat and Alipay to transfer money.
