went to confession for the first time today since May 2022. i used to go once a month or even more regularly, but for some reason over the past year i just kept putting it off.

because it had been a while and i was nervous, i put more thought into it than i had in the past. i wrote about where i’d missed the mark, areas i wanted to improve, and reflected on it longer. the confession ended up being a beautiful experience.

sometimes you just gotta just dive back into things. mercy is waiting on the other side.
