There's a lot of talk in the cyber security space about doing away with passwords in favor of biometrics.

These people can't even secure password databases, and they want my fucking fingerprints and other biometric data?

No, but thanks for the offer. I can change a password or email (use something like SimpleLogin) when they inevitably lose it, but my fingerprints and eyes are pretty hard to switch out.

Say no to biometrics. We can use password managers (Bitwarden only for me), 2FA and hardware devices. They're going to fail to secure whatever we give them anyway, so we might as well not give them elements of ourselves that we can't change when they inevitably do something stupid.

There's also the privacy invasion and potential for more government control in general if we accept this.
