I'm zapping with Minibits and all but one of my purchases has been made using Lightning. Everything else for me on chain is buys and transfers to cold storage. My fiat bills are paid with the fiat from my job, and the extra goes into Bitcoin. I've been a Bitcoiner for about five years. I don't think we'll ever see much commerce on the main chain and I'm not convinced we should.

I would convert my entire fiat check to Bitcoin and spend that (probably using Lightning), but the taxes in the US are a total nightmare. It's a pointless and expensive thing to do for me. People are using it in ways that make sense for them.
