My thoughts on El Salvador:

It’s a third world place with no significant power in the region much less in the world

5k bitcoins saved in her reserves are laughable. In a country scale, that is basically nothing

They have no sizable Navy nor Army

They adopted the mantra of zero debt (stupid)

Most Americans that moved there will be moving back asap. I’m looking at you Max Keiser 😂

Basically ES is the ops of nations, all talk but no bite

They should definitely be using their nation state status as a way to leverage debt, especially to acquire more bitcoin. I'm not sure what the political situation is there, maybe it was more popular to be anti-debt, to get elected and maintain power?

If your president has laser eyes, you don't need an army.

Oh I know.

I'm just Canadian and we seem to just expect others to defend us.

Literally, the only purpose of a federal government is the protection of the border. It seems most want them to do everything, except national defense.
