The obvious fallacy here of course is that governments represent the will of the people.
If anyone is stupid enough to actually believe that I dunno what to say (Elon for sure doesn't, he's just making bullshit excuses for censoring his WEF controlled "free speech platform").
Oh yeah, just ask your government to protect your rights. How’s that working out around the world?

In a literal sense, he left the door open for twitter to censor speech since it’s not congress.
Companies are legally allowed to do this. That’s why #[4] said exactly this about Twitter:
“The biggest issue and my biggest regret is that it became a company.”
That tweet is from April 2022. It’s notable that Twitter’s restrictions on speech go beyond what US law mandates.
