I ordered: Scrambled eggs and cheese. Pretty simple. The ingredients say: Scrambled egg, white Cheddar, salt and pepper. Great.

Oh, I wonder what this little "Detailed Ingredients" link will show. After all, they showed me the ingredients. Seemed simple enough.

They are putting seed oils in fucking scrambled eggs now.

Ingredients: Scrambled Egg (Liquid Whole Eggs (Whole Eggs, Citric Acid [To Preserve Color]), Canola Oil)

Bro. What the fuck. It isn't technically a scam since I did get some portion of an egg scrambled, but it feels like a scam nonetheless.

And it gets worse.

The Salt & Pepper also has a buried list of ingredients: Salt and Black Pepper Blend (now it's a blend, okay): (Sea Salt, Black Pepper, Canola Oil)

EXCUSE ME?!

I'm going back to hardly ever eating out. It's better that way anyway. Fuck it.

I'm just in shock. Salt and pepper isn't even safe anymore.

i'm @ the point of sourcing everything as close to the ground i can get with food. pharma is a greybox with a convoluted info scheme, ime, & hard for me to use. it takes time to find the right kind but has been worth it for me & mine! allthebest frens

Making my own food using raw ingredients has helped a lot. I can't reasonably attain perfection right now (and probably never will), but I've reduced the impact significantly compared to my past. Maybe that's the best I can hope for in my country right now.
